Term 3 Week 1

We hope this blog finds you all healthy and happy.  We are both very excited that there is one more sleep until camp!

If you have not checked your emails the last few days, please do so, as a Camp reminder email was sent with a few reminders for tomorrow morning.

On our Cross Country Day in Week 10 last term, Anne Koltrinari snapped some great action shots from her outpost on the course.  A big congratulations to all members of 5H who used their growth mindset to give their best efforts on the day!

Camp is another wonderful opportunity to work on the concept of "Growth Mindset" as your child may feel difficult emotions that they need to work through at various points over the three days.  Rest assured we will be there to support them all the way. Be prepared that they may return to you on Wednesday afternoon a little more confident and wiser!
Our OLC School Value for Term 3 is RESPECT.  We also hope that our camp will provide many opportunities for your child to develop and display respect for themselves, each other, their environment and to the adults they meet.

We welcome to 5 H this term a new student, Jeremy, who is bravely coming on camp, not knowing any of us!  We’re sure he will receive many warm smiles and greetings and enjoy a wonderful opportunity to get to know everyone on camp!

We wish Ellie and Prada very Happy Birthdays for their special days celebrated in the holidays!
