Week 3 Award Winner

Congratulations to Jasper who was our Week 3 Award Winner last Wednesday and who then celebrated his 11th birthday on Thursday!  

A big week for him and a big 5H thank you to Noon for spoiling us with the cutest cupcakes EVER!

Welcome to Week 4 in 5H! Once again we extend our heartfelt sympathy to our wonderful Violet and her family on the sudden death of David, Violet's Dad.  You are all in our thoughts and prayers.   In or blog this week we thought we would update you on our first couple of weeks as well as give you some reminders for this week ( of special note THE SWIMMING TRIALS TOMORROW ).  Please read on... Term 1 Week 9

T o our a mazing 5H families! Thank you for all your ongoing support during this difficult and uncharted time.  We have really appreciated your emails of support and kindness (and coffee that was sent in on Wednesday morning....you know who you are!!).  To th ose of you that have experienced a week of home learning we congratulate you! To those that will be embarking on their first week next week, please be easy on yourself - keep in mind that teachers are trained for years and have had many years practice.  We do not expect you to replicate the same overnight.  We couldn't possibly take over your job overnight and we know and understand that it will be difficult for you to do ours, especially when your child sees you as their parent rather than their "teacher" (even though you have been that from the moment they were born!!!)  Let us support you when you need ... Week 3 Term 2

Thank you to all those parents who have advised the school on whether their child will be attending from Week 3. Despite the larger group of students returning to school this week, we will remain with teaching the same content for home and school to cater for those at home. CHILDREN RETURNING TO SHOOL Please be aware that parents are still not permitted on school grounds. Please refer to the previous email from the school outlining the pick up procedure. If you child is returning, please ensure that they bring their  charged laptop and a pair of headphones is ESSENTIAL . It would be a good idea to stagger the books being returned.     This is a breakdown of the books they will need each day: MONDAY  (will be the heaviest!)
