Week 4 Term 4
What an incredible term of learning we are having!
The class are busy learning about fractions, researching
and writing an information report about their chosen illness, delving deeply
into the characters of our class novel, Wonder, revising our Friendology skills,
learning about the leaders of the Church in Religion and creating their own
screen saver in Visual Arts.
It was a fantastic reward for them to share their
favourite picture books with Pre Primary on Friday… What a fabulous way to
practice their fluency and expression!!
HOME LEARNING
Thank you to those of you who are signing our Home
Learning Grids and ensuring your child is completing their set homework.
Wonder Reading:
please ensure your child has read up to page 145 by the end of this week. Remember you can read some of the novel out
loud to them to help them catch up if they are behind.
We continue our times table learning this week with the 9x table. There are lots of tricks for the 9s available on you tube (search 9 times table tricks!) The class are loving earning their mini certificates for mastering their weekly facts! So far, we have had 100% success rate with everyone earning their certificates for the 4x and 3x tables. Great job everyone!
