Term 2 Week 7
Sorry Day
We had a great week last week learning and
discussing National Sorry Day. It was fabulous to see the respect and curiosity
that the students demonstrated...it was topped off with an amazing experience, where the whole school came together to spell out the
word sorry on our school oval. I bet if you ask them they will be able to point out where they are in the photo! Hopefully your child's Sorry Day “Chatterbox” made it home safely and your child was able to
teach you some of what they learnt in class.
HOMEWORK WEEK 7 and 8
For the next fortnight, the children do not have
Homework Grids to complete, as we have two short weeks (this week Thursday is
the Winter Carnival and Friday is a Pupil Free Day and next week Monday is a
public holiday and Tuesday is a Pupil Free Day!).
Thank you to all those who have returned the form
to indicate whether your child will be returning by bus or leaving with you
after the winter carnival. If you have
any questions remaining after reading the note, please email mandy.sinclair@cewa.edu.au
Reminder: the children wear their sports uniform on
this day and bring any specialised equipment that they may need for their
specific sport (eg: Mouth guards).
Focus Character Strength
This week we will be looking at the character strength of
Creativity!
Discuss with
your child if they feel this is one of their strengths and where they might see
this strength in action in other people.
Hello Families! The OLC Dance Concert
