student leader in 2022.
Remember
to present using the speaking skills you have learnt this year.

Make appropriate eye contact |
Make eye contact with your audience regularly. When speaking
to a larger group, make eye contact with many members of the
audience, in front of you and to the sides, as you speak. |

Use clear volume, pacing
and pauses to engage the audience |
Speak slowly and
clearly when
describing and explaining. Pause after introducing new
information. |

Use tone of voice to enrich your
presentation |
Sound excited when describing exciting things. Speak quietly to add some drama or to add effect. |

Use gestures to emphasize a point you
are trying to make. |
Think about where in your presentation you
can use gestures to maintain attention and add interest to your presentation. |

presentation framework that you have been using in all writing and speaking
activities. Introduction – be
